REs still rocketing, magnesia & alumina rises; Q4 talks for chromite and potash

Prices of the rare earths neodymium oxide and praseodymium oxide stole the limelight this week, gaining nearly 30%, while cerium oxide and lanthanum oxide have cooled slightly.  Neodymium oxide and praseodymium oxide prices have been indicated as high as $63/kg and $61.5/kg respectively, up from levels of $48-49/kg last week.  Europium oxide prices are still moving upwards reaching $605/kg, FOB China for 99% grades this week.Lanthanum oxide prices have cooled slightly this week, although everything is relative to the recent surge –...
