Nordic Mining ASA has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with international consultancy and project management group Arcadis Nederland BV to investigate use of eclogite and anorthosite minerals as stone meal for soil conditioning in agriculture.
Nordic Mining has nine claims on an eclogite resource at Engebøfjellet in Norway and is in the process of developing the deposit for production of rutile (for titanium dioxide pigment feedstock) and garnet. Substantial quantities of eclogite rock will become available from the project.
