Brazil’s Buschle & Lepper SA is to expand seawater magnesia capacity by end-2010

Buschle & Lepper SA (B&L) of Brazil is looking to expand its synthetic magnesia production to serve speciality high end market applications in chemicals, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, and food.

B&L produces seawater sourced magnesia, magnesium hydroxide, and magnesium carbonate for speciality applications from its operation in Joinville, Santa Catarina, south-east Brazil.
