Bankrupt Indian refractories arm merges with Steel Authority of India

The refractories unit of India company, Burn Standard, Braithwaite & Co., is to be merged with the Steel Authority of India (SAIL).
The minister's decision comes as an attempt to save around 2,500 jobs after Burn Standard and other heavy industries companies, BBJ Construction Co. and Jessops & Co. Ltd, ran into financial problems.
